This comment is to the Project Holder: there seems to be quite a bit of debate going on here. I do not understand most of it. The rules here for we designers is simple. NO COPIED DESIGNS! ONLY OUR ORIGINAL WORK IS ALLOWED!. Designers have had their accounts here cancelled due to their not following that rule. Yet, the designer that caused this problem for you is still on site and not being chastised for breaking that hard-fast rule. And, you are actually praising that person, saying "good work", when no good work was performed, only a copy of another design. Those of us that have abided by the rules and submitted may not have that "perfect" design you seek, but at least they are ORIGINAL! Just my 2 cents...

Thank You for your comment. Your points are valid. Please understand that we have not praised the designer since the issue came to light. All praise was prior to us finding out that the design was copied. We reported the situation to Design Crowd and they made a decision to give the designer a warning. This is their decision and hopefully he will learn from it. I cannot ban him from the site! Thanks for your 2 cents ... I am on the same page as you in every respect

One final thing Marty - After all of this happened, he stated that he provided the original design for feedback purposes, he then proceeded to change the design in order to make it unique. He didn't realise that this was unacceptable. Obviously we realise that things dont work this way but I honestly believe that his actions were more naive than malicious and he put in a lot of hours so I did feel some sympathy for him and gave him the benefit of the doubt. You will see that the last 3 designs he sent to me after everything came to light was rated at 1. This has been a nightmare for me. I actually sent files to a client.

Actually HunnyChohan, someone has made a good point above. Maybe you didn't know you made a mistake but this is not fair on other designers that are sending original work for this contest. Please no more entries for this one, there will need to be another winner, thank You.

By the way Marty, the "good work" comment was to the guy that spotted the issue, just to make that clear if you loomk again ;-)

Fraud designers should be banned right on the spot. This was hard copy with no excuse.

@To project owner - Dear, since many designers received your invitation yesterday to join the project, I am afraid that brief doesn't says much about the project itself. What Whirlwind business is?

Hi Folker. Thanks for your feedback. Yes not a great situation at all. One could say that people may be genuinely unsure of what they can or cannot do so a warning does suffice, but ignorance is no excuse. I guess I'm too soft ??.
No inconvenience at all. I'll update the brief shortly.
The business is very broad so does not relate to any one specific product or service so really looking for sometjing related to a whirlwind with just the letter W. Something that looks good on a baseball cap is a big plus. Sorry if I'm not making much send. Let's just say we sell whirlwinds ??
