Logo Design Brief
We need a logo for our new brand of banana being marketed for import into Europe and the Gulf States.
We source banana from the Americas and have a vertically-integrated model complemented with technical innovation to reduce costs and optimise returns with the intent of investing in social projects with the communities.
We want the logo to be a portrait rectangle, with soft (rounded) edges. Within or on the edge of the border to be written the word, Musa. The main logo to be a bust of a native American man, with feathered headgear (which can spill out of the borders). We do not want this logo to be stereotypical or have negative imagery. Although banana is not indigenous to the Americas, we want the logo to represent the indigenous workforce.
Musa is the Latin name for banana, but also has connotations of the muses...
We are thinking of mono-colour, something earthy like green or brown but open to persuasion.
We want the logo to speak of collaboration (partnership), optimised processes and the environment (social, environmental).
There are a couple of logos which capture the spirit, although the designs are quite removed from what we seek.
