Logo Design Brief

I setup a new company named 'bitmatch' for which I need a new logo. The company is based in Switzerland.

The company does mainly two things. Firstly, we provide consulting for software engineering tasks. Secondly, we develop complete software solutions for customers. We operate mostly in industrial fields, such as bakeries, molkeries, breweries, etc. Or generally, we provide IT services for software for machine controllers.

I look for a logo for the new company. The name was chosen because

- It hints that we work in the IT field (bit)

- It hints that we do some kind of low-level, machine-oriented programmin (bit)

- It is a word play for a match of bits (like in a soccer match, where bits play against / or with each other).

- It is a word play for pattern matching (used in many programming languages), but instead of pattern, we use bits.

I would ask designers to somehow take these points and make a logo.

I prefer simple, clean designs.

I have no strong preference for the color. The logo can also use different colors, if it fits well. However, It should also work on b/w.

The final design should communicate reliability and safeness.

The logo should be useable without text. The company name 'bitmatch GmbH' should be available next to / under the logo.

I would like to try the font 'Halis Rounded' for the text. See

A designer can download a demo on this site and use the font. I myself bought a license for this font (all types).

I expect to receive all design files in original format, and an export in pdf and png.
