Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a new company, based in Milan, Italy, called 16bit.
The main business is software development B2B for small and medium sized companies. Also we build small appliances for the Internet of things.
I would like a logo that reflects the nerdy name "16bit" but also looks professional.
