Icon Design Brief

Agora.gg, a stats/analytics site for Paragon (moba game) is looking for league icons for its player leagues. Players are ranked as Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. We currently display these ratings as a color, but would like to compliment them with custom icons.

I've attached an example of the job type, these are League of Legends league icons. We are looking for something more flat/vector, sharp and not as intricately detailed so that it can scale down without losing too much, but still really "cool" so that the players are happy when they move up in rank and get a better emblem. The quality / badass appearance of the icon should increase with each quality tier.

Please see the screenshot of our layout and consider the best approach. A large icon will be displayed next to their main Elo score (big text on the image) and a smaller icon next to each Elo in the live match section.
