Logo Design Brief

I'm looking to find a logo for a blog/website (and other applications) that is clean and simple using my blog name Practicing Mammal. There will be headers required in the future for categories of blog posts (household order, reading together, education without workbooks, homeschooling with joy, history through literature, simplifying your life...) My favourite colours are orange and blue, but I don't know if they are suitable, but they make me happy. And I should be happy.
