Logo Design Brief

ABOUT THE COMPANY/BUSINESS:
- We are a market research firm. We work with a range of international manufacturers and advertising agencies.

- The work we do is unique. Using complex software and statistical analyses we ‘fuse’ together a range of different data sources to form readily accessible and meaningful business insights.

- These data sources may include traditional consumer research data, such as the information collected via online surveys, or from data collected by the clients themselves, for example sales data, or a profit and loss analyses from their accounts department.

- Some people would describe us as a Big Data firm.

- Most importantly, whilst our work is complex the insights that we provide our clients are not! Our core mission is to deliver simple, insightful facts that help our clients make more confident business decisions.

- Big Data is a relatively new area of research and can therefore be threatening to some people. For this reason our brand personality must be highly approachable.

LOGO REQUIREMENTS/IDEAS:

- We require a logo that includes a pictorial mark or emblem, aka a graphical representation of our work, and is not just a stylised version of the word 'fuse' or letter 'f'.

- We are attracted to ideas that conceptually represents the principle of ‘fusing’ together information and/or ideas.

- We are a young and adventurous company. To reflect our brand DNA the logo would ideally communicate a sense of motion and/or energy.

- We have not selected any colours for our company at this stage. We were hoping for inspiration from the designers.

ATTACHED LOGOS:
- We have included several examples of logos which we think reflect the style and quality that meet our requirements.

MUST NOT HAVE:
- It is crucial that we tone-down the inherent complexity of our work, we would ask that you refrain from any concepts that directly relate to technology, computers or maths/statistics.
