Logo Design Brief

We are 2 brothers starting a small plumbing business in Central Kentucky. We will offer general plumbing & mini excavation services. We will be called – Water Dogs Plumbing, LLC. The slogan is “If water runs through it, WE CAN DO IT!”. We want a graphic with smiling, professional, trustworthy dogs, dressed wearing uniforms, with plumbing tools or using equipment – our uniform will be either a grey or maroon shirt with blue pants. We want our characters to be wearing hats - if possible to include the names on the hat as "ODIE" and "JOHN". John is a taller character than Odie. We’d like our design to be very colorful so it stands out. We need a logo that will have an equal impact whether it is on a business card, vehicle or uniform – something that can be minimized or enlarged as needed. The files attached are examples of some of the ideas we've been reviewing but not committed to using, not original designs and are looking for other options.

Must have

• 2 trustworthy faced dogs, 2 different heights - prefer the face to be a basset hound or beagle. Characters must have plumbing tools or equipment by them or in their hands and wearing a cap.

Nice to have

• Uniforms to match our service colors - Grey or maroon shirts with blue pants
• Hat on each character's head to include their name - Taller figure = John. Shorter figure = Odie

Should not have

• Nothing suggestive or vulgar
