Logo Design Brief

We are creating a brand identity system for holding group called Linus Global (to be established) and its existing companies (now sub brands)

Linus Global is being established as a diversified holding company which includes our existing family businesses. We currently have businesses in the field of interior design, scaffolding, real estate, and some exciting ventures coming soon such as mobile app development, events, etc. Our current operations are in the Middle East and India.

This project is for logo development of Linus Global and its subsidiaries. The master brand Linus Global and all sub brands should be differentiated, yet have a common theme that is consistent throughout. When the identities are placed together, they should form a set.

The companies for our project are as follows:

Linus Global - The name Linus Global has been chosen, as it is the name of the founder spelled backwards (Sunil). For this company, we need a logo and an overall branding identity system / guidelines that inspires the logo for all the other subsidiary companies. The name has been tested and works well in both in the Middle East and India, and has not been previously listed. The domain www.linusglobal.com has been reserved and will be further developed at the end of the logo project.

Subsidiary 1 - Ace Group is the largest subsidiary / sub brand company. Although the name can not be changed, the logo should fit within the new Linus Global holding company. This logo should have text and logo variations for the different customer segments as follows: Ace Joinery, Ace Interior Solutions, Ace General Maintenance and Ace General Contracting

Subsidiary 2 - Linus Scaffolding which holds 2 companies - Desarch and Cornish are scaffolding companies and although the name can not be changed, the logo should fit within the new Linus Global holding company

Subsidiary 3 - Linus Innovations is dedicated to funding and co-owning new innovative technological ideas including publishing, media productions, mobile apps, etc.

Subsidiary 4 - Linus Properties holds real estate, manages tenancies, and makes strategic investments in real estate globally

Subsidiary 5 - Linus Marketing does public relations and events management

An organization structure is attached.

We would like the designs to be innovative, creative and unique. The logo should be inspired by all our business interests, tell a story, catchy and attractive. We want original designs only with original fonts and logo marks.

Requirements

Must have

• Please submit only high quality designs which are innovative and tell a story and bring all our businesses together. Each variation should have an element which is for that particular type of business. The design should not just be something abstract without logic.
  
  Colors for the parent and subsidiary logos must be appealing and soothing since the Interior design company is a big component of the business - many of the examples provided use very good colors which is important
  
  Scalability - the design should have the flexibility to be adapted to new companies / sectors / ventures as Linus Global grows

Should not have

• We don't want just a standard square, circle or triangle. Combination of shapes to form something more is acceptable. Custom fonts and designs will only be accepted.
  
  Should not simply be a representation of the letters
