Logo Design Brief

My wife and I have recently taken over a dance studio "Spotlight School of the Arts". It has been a competitive and recreational dance studio for over 3 decades. My wife's background is in dance for musical theatre purposes. As such, she is adding musical theatre (monologue prep, broadway dance, etc.) into the list of services offered. We were looking for an updated logo that seemed to personify the wide range of services offered that would appeal to children and their parents.
