First time here, so I hope I am not doing something stupid and I am writing everything needed.
I need 2 logos, a bigger, more detailed one to be used as a facebook profile picture and generally as the "official" logo, and a smaller one that will appear on the corners of other icons, might be as small as 30*30 pixel or so.
The company's name is Hydra Graphics, this can be shortened to Hydra Gfx, but I think that the text is not neccessary (definitely no text on the smaller logo).
Theme is Fantasy Hydra, a multi-headed wingless dragon-creature, google for "fantasy hydra" so you will see what is that if you are not familiar with that. The bigger logo should contain at least 3 heads, the smaller one is okay to contain only 1 so the shape stays readable even if very small.
It is okay that the logo only contains hydra heads, no need to do the body, as it would be large and not that typical.
Black&white is totally okay. Either the hydra heads are a black silhouette on a white background, or the hydra heads are black&white themsleves. The smaller logo should be a black silhouette on a white background, to make it easier to read.
Style should _not_ be an oversimplification, it should be fairly detailed on the bigger picture (fangs, spine spikes, whatever). The smaller pic: whatever works.
Example pics about preferred style of the first, larger, more detailed icon (these are dragons but pretty similar stuff I think):

Oversimplified

It could be a bit more "realistic", but not bad.
About the smaller logo, something simple with a ring or a shield around it could work.. or even without one. Just dont forget, the small logo has to be readable even if very small.
Target Market(s)
"Target audience" is mostly other game developers, so nerds like me :)

Requirements
Must have
- Hydra Heads on the larger pic, one head is enough for the small if more make it too hard to read.
Nice to have
- The smaller logo might have a circle or a shield around it.
Should not have
- Body of the hydra. It is enough to do the heads.
