Logo Design Brief

We are a cosmetics distribution company in Costa Rica Central America. We communicate in english and spanish. We need to re-label an imported Korean product line with our own brand logo and packaging design. We have the brand, we need a logo and perhaps thereafter packaging graphics (in collaboration with our packaging designer). The Brand is "DNA" - the products are high cost, high quality cosmetics such as anti aging creams, hyaluronic acid, dermal fillers, hgh, botox which are sold in high end spa's and beauty salons but also to hospitals and medical customers.
The logo and color scheme should communicate
luxury
elegance
efficacy
trust-able science.
The logo should be associated with a graphic device representing DNA please.

Must have

• We updated our understanding of the brief - since we received some submissions. Our audience is responding to the colors gold black (and or white) (this is a guide not a creative limit) and to logos that contain a graphic element representing (abstract or accurate) outline of the DNA strand.
• (the hippo is still to be ignored it just wouldnt let us submit the project without some photo- tx).

Nice to have

• DNA is the building block of life. Clearly we are looking for something that will make that very instant jump to existing meme space. Someone seeing this logo/brand should immediately make that association. We want to communicate credible science, efficacious products via luxury packaging. The brand logo should be the central vehicle of that message.
• Seeing our feedback so far it seems that gold/black/white are our preferred colors.

Should not have

• any connotations that would offend in either latino or english cultures. Bright colors.
