Logo Design Brief
IQra Apparel is a clothing apparel Start up company that makes T shirts with short and witty anecdotes in simple plain and cool looking text. The target audience are young adults (13 - 29) and kids(5 - 12). Few of our fashion lines can tailor towards mature adults (30 - 40)
Iqra is an Arabic word which means to read which subliminally means to read what the T shirts actually have to say. Now the audience is catered to Muslim Youth familiar with the western style of living and cool fashion trends.
The final design should communicate confidence yet softness in being able to proudly wear our shirts that communicate and intelligent message.Our products are unisex but mostly catered towards the male market. It should be simple, yet wittingly creative!
The T shirts are simple but its the text and smart phrases which draw in our customers!

As promised. Budget has been increased to $320.00!! There a tons of Awesome designs coming in. Top Ten Designs will be chosen in the next few days to lower the amount of options to eventually One final Design!
The designers ability to be open minded to instruction or suggestions on a design is a key factor to a winning Design in this Contest!

Must have
- Compulsory would be to Incorporate the IQ portion which relays intelligence meanwhile keeping the entire framework of the word Iqrah.
The loog should be able to standout on both Black and white backgrounds. Preferred formats would be EPS, PNG JPEG, Favicon and TIFF.
Will also use the logo on website in the near future and would like the design to appear online.
I have included photos of color contexts I found interesting as well as what are some of the logos with the same word Iqra look like. Iqra is a popular word in the Arabic language and hence the design must be unique
The Apparel should be bold and accentuate the modern look of the IQ logo. Will leave that open to the designer but perhaps a hollow text box with the words engraved could work.
Nice to have
- incorporate contextual colors like Green, orange, white or Blue. It doesnt have to all be incorporated but feel free to use your creativity!!
Logo could have an Engraved "IQ" with a brain on top of the letter "I"
Can include shadow backdrops
