Logo Design Brief
Message Mechanics (aka Jeffrey Pease Message Mechanics) needs a logo design.
Message Mechanics is the brand for my messaging consultancy which creates North Star positioning for companies, products and brands. I apply a tested repeatable process to sharpen message, rally your team around it, and communicate it to the market. Message Mechanics is about helping companies achieve such amazing message clarity that it automatically improves their marketing and sales results. Here's a video for background that describes my method: https://youtu.be/uk_PDILPAzc
I am a former tech Chief Marketing Officer and 20 year software B2B software industry veteran. As Message Mechanics, I work both with established enterprise companies and new companies such as Silicon Valley startup FreeAgentsoftware.com.
Message Mechanics is very linked to my personal brand as a messaging expert -- so much so that the perfect logo design could include my name followed by Message Mechanics. Ideally, the winning design would have versions with and without my name for different uses.
My previous logo was too cute and used a graphic that made "Mechanics" feel like auto mechanics (not giving the right impression of value). Mechanics in this case should be in the sense of physics, not cars.
I'd like to see designs that uses the color blue, possibly in darker, more "authoritative" shades. The winning design will communicate solidity and high value. But it may also convey some or all of the following: Clarity, finding your "Northstar", making pieces fit together, truthfulness. We are talking about clearing away complexity and achieving the kind of clarity and simplicity that changes businesses.
I want the businesses Message Mechanics serves to see getting their core positioning right as a high-value problem that is worth substantial investment. Nothing too frou frou. A brilliant type treatment might end up as the winner.
I am not including my old logo, because I don't want you to be influenced by it. Use your creativity, and show my your kickass ideas!
Thank you.

Requirements
Must have
- A strong sense of high value. This is a high value problem for the client companies, but because few vendors or consultants specialize in it the value and price needs to be established. The logo should support the importance of the issue.
Nice to have
- A sense of clarity or "Norhtstar" navigation.
Should not have
- I prefer to see just one simple rendition of the logo as it would appear on a PowerPoint or web page. Feel free to submit multiple logo ideas, but I don't want to see the same logo as a 3D metal sign, embossed into stationary, or engraved onto a product. Chances are this logo will never be used on a physical sign.
