Next generation outfitting
Add your question or comments below
Hello,
Thanks for the invite!
Couple of quick questions:
1) Do you specialize in a particular type of hunting? For example: bow hunting, rifle, both?
2) Any primary competitors in your area? My research revealed several hunting outfitters in Manitoba. Not sure which ones pose the highest threat to your business. If you aren't sure, I'd go with the ones closest to your HQ. The idea is to create an image that beats the imaging of your closest competitor by conveying more trust, professionalism, and authority. If I see their logos and websites, I can get a better idea of how to make you stand out.
3) I noticed you mention "rattling deer antlers" as a nice to have element. It's a cool idea for sure. However, the practical use of rattling antlers in a logo or t-shirt probably won't turn out like you expect. Especially as a smaller element in the design, such as hanging off the shape of Manitoba. They end up looking like a couple of tree branches or a mash of cris-cross lines.
I suggest incorporating standard deer antlers into the design. You'll get more mileage out it if people recognize the antlers right away, versus squinting their eyes and saying "what is that thing hanging off the edge...are those antlers?". Does that make sense?
Just want to make sure you are open to other depictions of antlers before I submit a design.
Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions! The more I know, the better I can help you.
Hope your week is going well!
Stay Rad,
- Blaine
