Logo Design Brief

I need a design for my business - located in NW Wisconsin, I am a Certified Real Estate Appraiser ( I DO NOT SELL Real Estate). I cover a wide variety of residential and recreational properties - we are located in an area which has a large amount of fresh water lakes and public forest lands and other recreational properties. I appraise all residences from homes located in small to mid-sized cities, lake homes (from small cabins up to multi-million dollar homes) to vacant land and vacant lakeshore lots. The design would ideally reflect this as does my company name - City, Land & Sand Appraisal. I am a sole proprietor with over 18 years of experience; but my company is new - just opened on my own in June of this year.

Requirements

Must have

• Simplicity - Colors should read very well off of a black background for future use on clothing. I wear a lot of black. I do not want pastel colors in the logo or writing. I prefer not a real photo but more of a drawing - not a large city skyline but maybe a home with a tree/grass/lake and a tree?

Nice to have

• Something that encompasses all three elements - city, land & Sand (homes, forest lakes etc.). I like the bright orange of the idea I posted - but need it to have some green (tree) and blue (water) in it too?

Should not have

• Due to our rules and regulations as an appraiser, I cannot use text such as #1 or "the best" or "most accurate", etc. or any statements like that. I DO NOT SELL real estate - I am a residential appraiser; I DO NOT appraise commercial properties.
