Logo Design Brief

We are Umbrella of Hope -- a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue run entirely by volunteers and funded entirely by donations. We specialize in senior, special needs, medically needy, shy, plain and hospice animals who are at-risk of losing their lives in shelters. We recently took on 5 disabled orange kittens who we have combined into a "litter" and named THE CATS OF HAZZARD (after the Dukes of Hazzard) and have named them accordingly (Luke, Daisy, Bo, Uncle Jesse and Rosco P Coltrane). We would like for them to become ambassadors for special needs pet adoptions. They have an Instagram page @catsofhazzard. We are on Facebook and Instagram @umbrellaofhope. We would like a logo designed for the Cats of Hazzard as a whole that depicts each kitten AS THEY ARE (disability included) that we can use on Facebook and Instagram and other online uses as warranted. We would also like individual ones of each of the kittens (can be the same ones as used in the main logo, but separate files). If there is a huge desire from our fans, we may make merchandise with the logo (t-shirts?) to raise money for our medical fund but the main usage would be on social media and online.

Requirements

Must have

• The logo text and caricatures of each of the 5 kittens. Would be really nice if each individual kitten could also be sent as a separate file. Would like it to be clean and impactful. We are looking to use this story as a way to bring in more fans and donors (possibly high-end donors). We want the individual disabilities to be apparent on the caricatures. Uncle Jesse, Luke and Daisy are missing bones in their lower legs (femoral hypoplasia, tibial hypoplasia, multiple metatarsal hypoplasia). Bo is missing his right eye and is missing the eyelid on his left eye. Rosco is paralyzed in his back end and his back legs stick out at a "funny" angle (see pictures). We can provide closeups if needed but there are many pictures and videos of them on the Umbrella of Hope facebook page as well as the Cats of Hazzard Instagram.

Nice to have

• Maybe take some elements from the Dukes of Hazzard and incorporate? We are Umbrella of Hope so possibly a hint of our brand in there as well? Would be great to be able to use the logo online and possibly on merchandise as well if there is a demand for it by the people who see the logo.
