Logo Design Brief
I'm creating an organization called Sustainable Food Institute. Its an organization that connects consumers with producers, and visa versa. The organization promotes exchange of ideas, cultures, and knowledge around food. The work will be supporting consumers in the USA with a better understanding of where and how food is produced in the USA and around the world. On the producer end, there will be opportunities to connect with consumers on their farms and in their communities. I'm looking for a logo that can be used professionally to represent an international brand.
Types of programs will include:
1. Food Guardians: Participants would travel to countries to see origins of foods (coffee in ethiopia, potato in Peru, corn in mexico), as well as an avenue to visit local farms locally to learn about their regional food systems. The trip will be service learning, and will incorporate tourism into the experience.
2. Farmer exchange experiences for students interested in learning about the market chain, origin of food. Winter break trips, summer trips for college students, or a vacation for a working person.
3. Market garden projects in tourism communities (Cancun, Mexico; San Jose, Costa Rica). Visiting sites where produce is grown for high end restaurants, resorts, communities.
4. App that generated information on where certain products are sold and produces, making information about the market chain for their product of choice easily available to consumers.
