Flyer Design Brief
Melbourne Summer Guitar Concert Series
We are launching a classical guitar summer concert series called Melbourne Summer Guitar.
We need a DL sized color brochure to letter-drop at hotels and hostels to catch the eye of a weary summer tourist.
Classical guitar music is often an acquired taste so our performers, the best local talent, will be modifying their program to includes a Beatles medley, maybe “Bohemian Rhapsody” from Queen and other modern movie hits transcribed for advanced classical guitar. Our brief to the guitarists is “think like Andre Riue” when selecting and playing the program.
We are targeting to a broader tourist audience who may be visiting Melbourne for the Australian Tennis Open.
Its also important that the design of the brochure catch the eye in a hotel brochure rack. Regularly brochures displayed in these situations only see the top half of the brochure.
We need to include the following information on the DL brochure. Not all information needs to be above the brochure line (see above comment about hotel brochure racks).

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: We have added some further design guidelines about representing the shape of the classical guitar and how it is held - as some designs have come through that look like a electric guitar being played by a player walking around on a stage. The classical guitar is the more traditional shape and is played in a seated position.
A couple more days are needed for some designers to make adjustments.
Thanks
