I completely understand your concern. The reason I've decided to crowdsource is because I've wasted enough money on Upwork and Peopleperhour to get this done. Even if I got a god design, I need the original files to do the html conversion which I'm going to get only after payment -right?. So this is a fair deal as far as I'm concerned. Think from my side too :)
