Logo Design Brief
The name of the company is Greekosophy. Its vision is to show people the love and passion of Greek people for life and to also educate them on all things Greek. For example, Greek customs, history, mythology, food and drink, music, arts, etc
Initially, the business will operate in the food sector only, hoping to venture into other sectors as it grows.
A few points regarding the logo:
1) Please avoid the usual stereotypes when it comes to Greek related logos, such as using the Greek letter sigma (Σ) instead of E. Ideally, avoid also the use of ancient Greek columns. We want the logo to be original and different from all other Greek relates logos.
2) The logo needs to be easily visible regardless of size (large or small) and colour. It should look good even when viewed in black and white.
3) If there is a way that the logo can reflect aspects such as passion, love, happiness, hospitality, humility, laughter, friendliness, it would be great but not essential.
4) Due to our plans to enter into other sectors, the logo needs to be able to reflect those sectors by a simple addition to its original design, without altering it too much. For example, say we wanted to enter into the ‘wine producer’ sector. Ideally, we would like to use the original logo in our own wines, but with the addition of, say, a bunch of grapes or a grapevine in the logo, to identify the wine sector. In other words, the original logo we are asking for now, needs to be able to remain mostly intact and easily recognisable even when those small additions are made to it in the future, to identify separate sectors.
5) It is not essential for the logo to have any text.
