Web Design Brief
PLEAE NOTE - At this price point the expectation is a FULLY CODED project with Wordpress Integration please.
We need a website design for a technology education provider focused on providing specialist in-person training sessions for mid career technology executives.
We will not be an e-learning provider, instead we will initially offer 4-hour "Masterclasses" that are geared towards getting technology executives to fully understand a particular topic.
Eventually (in about an year or so) we will start offering diploma courses.
I would like to have a section that has a "Login" for students and faculty.
We want to send the vibe that we are a "boutique" but exclusive educational institution.
We are very serious but open to new ways of looking at things.
All of our professors are practitioners in their respective fields.
I can consider paying for a few stock photographs if the design absolutely requires it.
I would like to highlight 2-3 masterclasses that people can sign up for using a service like Eventbrite.
I would like to have this website backed by a content management system like Wordpress so that I can add classes and edit and maintain the content going forward.
Please consider the following websites for aspiration:
Think minimalist, modern and clean as a design language.
General Assembly
http://generalassemb.ly
This site seems a bit too informal - just a tiny bit more formal - the layout and stuff are great just that there are some photos there with people in socks - not sure if I like that.
Code Factory Academy
https://coderfactoryacademy.edu.au
Like this site but we are not exactly going to teach people to code - we will take topics and run through them in half-day increments.
Few more sites to be inspired by:
INSEAD Executive Education

D.School at Stanford

Just a quick note - Please note that I am expecting a full HTML & CSS delivered as part of this package - By continuing to participate in this design I will assume that will be the case. Added Tuesday, December 20, 2016

Requirements
Must have
- Get the vibe from www.insead.edu
- https://generalassemb.ly/ general assembly is a very good model to use.
Nice to have
- 1. Login - area - that opens on click of the "Login for Students and Faculty" option.
- 2. An area to feature 3 "masterclasses"
- 3. An area that shows the schedule of master-classes where some are "Sold out"
- 4.
Should not have
- This is not a "Degree granting institution" - please don't use images of "graduates" tossing a graduation cap. My clients are in their 30's or older - so no early 20's looking students in the photos please. I also don't like posed photos where people are looking at the camera and giving a "thumbs up" for example. I like natural shots.
