Logo Design Brief
I am looking to create a logo for my web based company. We seek to help customers become more comfortable grilling and barbecuing. We want to become part of their lifestyle. A go to company for hints, tips, advice, products and to just plan enjoy life. Life is too short and we are not guaranteed tomorrow, so why eat boring and bland food. We will sell the products to season the food properly, the knowledge of how to cook it and the clothing, tools and sauces to look good doing it. We are a company based in the SE United States. A land steeped in tradition of slow smoking food, over a seasoned wood fire, that truthfully scares some people and they are afraid to even attempt to cook. This is who we want to introduce ourselves to. To make them a better cook/chef for their family.

- An image that invokes the feeling of cooking outdoors, either over an open flame, or on a grill or in a smoker.
Nice to have
- This first design will carry over to all we do, and eventually in to all logo'd items. I would like the design to be used on a grey, black or white background. I would like the image to be one or at most two colors. It needs to look good as a watermark and as a stand alone item, IE on a cup or hat.My vision of the design has smoke rising up, a fire/flame, and possibly a fire pit, grill or smoker. It should truly be simple, but recognizable from a glance. It may incorporate the name of the company, but is not a requirement.
- I would like to use this as a spring board to other design projects with hopefully the same artist. These projects include shirt designs, hats, bottles, bottle caps, labels, but are not limited to these items.
- It could use animals, Pigs, Chickens and cows are natural fits. Humorous or serious designed will be considered. After all, we don't take ourselves too seriously either.
