We remanufacture auto, truck, boat, motohome and industrial-application engines (since 1975; we're one of the industry leaders). We are launching a nationwide program to build a network of professional installers (ie, auto repair shops, fleet managing companies, etc.). Purchasers of our engines can select from installers based in/around their geographic locale.
We are looking for a logo that can be used as a window cling, embroidered patch and as an icon on websites, for instance.
Attached are our current logo; this is for reference and not a dictation of design direction. Feel free to visit our existing site of the same name for inspiration (site soon to be replaced by new site design)

Requirements
Must have
- A look, feel of 'honesty', competence. Trustworthiness.
Nice to have
- Dovetails/compliments existing SJE logo. This is to look like a badge of honor (of sorts), a 'stamp of certification', "you can trust this business"
- Idea: our business is 100% USA. This plays well with our clients, both retail and jobbers. So does a quasi-military look, if not overplayed
- Idea: our environmental waste for a year can fit into a coffee can. We are extremely enviro-friendly.
Should not have
- Too much detail, wording. Bold is nice, aggressiveness is not.
