Logo Design Brief

Looking for a logo that will be the basis for a new company that will be selling home automation equipment / advanced robotic equipment / robotic toys for children and much more.

Would love to give creative freedom but had the idea of possibly incorporating a "power button" logo or perhaps DNA helix (evolution of technology)...if it doesn't fit in the design, not a problem.

I have attached my go at the logo but find it comes up a bit short.
