Logo Design Brief

We are an ASX listed organisation looking to update (freshen up) our logo. We are a mining company - our website is www.macmahon.com.au. In particular we a looking to modernise the blue omega - nb it needs to stay blue but this can be a different shade). Something similar to what Qantas has done over the years with the kanagaroo tail and font (see pics attached). Other key colour is grey/silver/black/white. I've attached the current logo in different layouts for reference. We would like to see some gradient in the omega or some kind of sheen - keeping in mind it needs to be print friendly and not 3d etc...I've also attached a pic of our equipment where the logo will be printed.

• The current Omega needs to change a little - it needs to remain, but we'd like a more modern version. The font used also needs to be updated. We would like to see something with 'pace / forward motion' in it.
