Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new Wharton School based startup called "Festiv". The company is the Airbnb for booking Event Venue Spaces such as for Weddings and Corporate Holiday Parties. We would like the logo to evoke a sense of cheerfulness and celebration so bright colors are welcomed (preferably teals and yellows [and not pink or reds]). I prefer simple logos over heavily designed logos.
