Signage Design Brief

we are two qualified chefs and require signage design for a new modern food truck business we are setting up. the concept design should incorporate elements contained in the business card design including the road, black/grey flames, and of course the logo itself . there should also be provision for a menu area (black board or brown paper scroll) each side of the food servery window which is positioned in the middle of the truck side panel (note this servery will be opened when in use so the design needs to not be lost in the opening). The business logo and business card design (front and back) is already complete and is attached and contains all the information/contact details relating to the business. this business card will give a better understanding of our catering business and its services. the truck is white for both the drivers cabin and the kitchen cabin so we would like to maintain some white elements in the design so the truck does not require a full image wrapping but is more suitable for digital vinyl printing. we would also like to carry some elements of the design/logo through to the drivers cabin doors. attached are a couple of photos of designs we like. the truck measurements are approx. 4M L X 2.4M WX2.8M H

targeting a range of customers from fast and casual street food - fast service to private catering for a range of events parties etc and corporate catering. have the ability to cater for large and small numbers of guests.

Requirements

Must have

• black/grey flames must be included and some other colours from the colour scheme on the business card design. the road image to be incorporated into the design and possible flow through to the drivers cabin. The text with the business information. Must be included and also the main business logo design(the logo without the truck) white, black, red/orange elements. the. text to include reference to gourmet catering, fast and affordable menu choices for parties, events and festivals.

Nice to have

• A graphic image of menu board/menu scroll incorporated into the design which will go onto the servery window side of the truck.

Should not have

• full solid colour coverage as I don't want to do a full image wrapping - I need some white elements so the image can be printed on computer cut graphics and digital print without needed to use multiple metres of digital print.
