Logo Design Brief
Velos Electronics is an electronics design and consulting company, with a focus on telemetry systems. We provide bespoke hardware and software solutions to our clients - with great attention to detail. No effort is spared in delivering a user-friendly, top-quality and highly performant solution. Our services enable our clients to collect, store, share and visualise data from their internet-connected devices so that they may effectively leverage the information produced. Our philosophy is that no data is useless, whether produced by big industry or the hobbyist.
We require a logo design that represents the ethos of Velos: forward-thinking, creative, modern, professional and high quality. The name "Velos" translates from Greek into "Arrow" and our current logo uses the "V" to make an arrowhead. We've found that the combination is rather cliched and we really, really want to move away from that concept. Attached are some styles of logos that are along the lines of what we are looking for.
Updates
Hello designers! From all the submissions so far we have figured out a few things.
1) The style of font that we like is similar to "Handel Sans ef"
2) A lot of designs come have "VE" inside a circle. We'd like to see a little variation

Should not have
- References to arrows, speed and the "V" in Velos should not be the focus by itself so lettermark style logos should include the V and the E from the name Velos Electronics. The attached file "Velos existing logo" is our current logo... we've grown to really, really dislike it.
