Logo Design Brief
We need a logo design for a start up social enterprise based in France called Iteso.
For a little background the word Iteso corresponds to a tribe in Africa. The Iteso people are a cattle breading ethnic Nilo-Hamitic group located in Eastern Uganda.
IteSo is a start-up social enterprise specializing in the provision of strategic advice and investment services within the microfinance sector.
Iteso focuses on finding innovative ways to increase the access to affordable clean energy (solar, hydro, biogas, biomass, cookstoves) to the bottom of the pyramid. It provides consulting services to donors / governments / microfinance institutions and enables innovative financing solutions to social investors wishing to invest in this sector.
Iteso follows a triple bottom line approach (profit / environment / social).
Similar companies are www.arcfinance.org; www.microenergy.org; www.greenmicrofinance.org; www.eandco.org
We are looking for a progressive, simple, powerful, bold and fresh logo - that will help the target market identify with our triple bottom line approach to business, our social mission and understand that the indirect beneficiaries of our activities are the poor in developing countries.
Updates
Hi,
Thank you for your designs.
I have changed the brief slightly. I would like you to incorporate the notion of 3 in your design - and ensure that the overall idea remains progressive, simple & powerful, bold & fresh.
Good luck!
Thank you all for your work - so far the designs have been of excellent quality!
Please check the brief, a few small changes have been made.
Be creative!
Happy New Year to you all !
Hi,
Target Market(s)
Our target market will be social investors, government agencies, development agencies and microfinance institutions. These will be based in both developed and developing countries.
Although the organisations that will purchase our services will be "rich" - there is an indirect reflection on actions/investments affecting the poor. Working on reducing energy - poverty and on improving the lifes of the poorest segment of the world population in developing countries.
