T-shirt Design Brief

I want a design focused mainly for a t-shit, however it should be good to be used in all sort of merchandise and marketing and publicity materials. The image should have its roots on nature and exotic animals and natural elements. This has to be a very modern interpretation in a way that is simple enough to print yet sophisticated.
Preferred animals: Jaguar, bat, shark, quetzal bird, octopus, toucan, iguana, turtle, dolphin, monkey, snake, iguana.
Attached images that I found appealing as reference.

Target Market(s)

This merchandise will be offered to visitors in a natural park in the Riviera Maya, Mexico. Hence the exotic flavor. Mainly international tourists.

Requirements

Must have

• It has to include the "Riviera Maya, Mexico" text. Also this text shall be easy to change.
• It should be in 3 colors max, but I wat to be able to change colors/shapes easily at will.
• Clean and well constructed.
• I want full ownership and rights for commercial use.
• Technical requirements:
• Adobe Illustrator file/ vector EPS file (Adobe Illustrator 10-compatible).
• Fully editable.
• At least 1900 x 2800 pixels size.

Nice to have

• References to other elements such as the ocean, the jungle, mayan pyramids, mayan craft, sun, moon, fire.

Should not have

• Not locked or hidden layers.
• Not open shapes.
