Logo Design Brief

I need a creative logo for my photography business which has 3 arms: corporate portraits, fine art and photography education. The logo should comprise my name KAREN LUCAS plus a simple, stylish, graphic. I'd like the option to use the logo with the word photography or without it. And if the graphic includes the letters KL that would be super as I could use just the graphic or the entire logo so it would give me lots of flexibility, especially for use as a signature on on fine art prints. I like clean lines, geometry like circles and squares and simple silhouttes or outlines in black and white. The final design should have a high class feel and the brand should convey the messages of professionalism, elegance and creativity.

Requirements

Must have

• Must be in black and white or greyscale
• The logo must be clear and easy to read.
• It can be in upper or lower case, but in my tests it seems to look more impressive in all caps or all caps and first letter bigger size caps
• It must be provided in an editable AI format plus the usual formats.
• Option to invert logo - it must still look good when inverted and printed on a dark background.
• Logo must be unique

Nice to have

• Creative combination of KL in the graphic

Should not have

• Don't use common icons freely available on the internet. The graphic must be original
• Backward facing letters
• Anything girly or frilly or childish
• Must not be masculine
• Must not have a corporate or industrial feel
• film strip or old fashioned cameras
• retro feel
• type that is difficult to read, especially when viewed small or type that can easily be misread as another letter
• Please don't show me the logo on stationery. I only want one version of it in black and white/greyscale viewed straight on, not from a slanted angle.
