Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for an environmental consulting firm with offices in Denver and Kansas City. We work to ensure our clients comply with all environmental regulations and maintain the safety of each person present at the site. Our company is called "Family Environmental Consulting". “Family” represents the way we treat our clients like family, and not that we do only small jobs for families and individuals. We’ve been in business for 20 years and are consistently performing more corporate, large-scale, nationwide work and want a professional logo to reflect this. We have the following requests:
-We want green to be a more prominent color
-No excessively bulky, chunky or curvy text (design 9 on the attached sheet is an example of "too bulky")

I've attached our favorite logos from other consulting firms. The employees at our company liked designs 5, 7, and 10 the best.
