Logo Design Brief

We are a Christian based drug and alcohol program. We do have a website at Aporhouma.com. Our previous logo was here when I arrived eight years ago and I feel like it is not modern enough. I would prefer blue as the color. I would be ok with multiple colors also. I would like for a cross to be in the logo if possible. I am really not to set or picky about any details. We are not targeting and specific crowd. We just need a good looking logo for our letterhead, cards, and shirts. Thank you for any help in that.
