Logo Design Brief

I am looking to make my company's logo more modern and appealing. I like the company colors a lot - at least the burnt orange. I want to keep that. I also like the idea of "Strategic" being more of a serious font, while "Creations" is more of a creative font. We write proposals, so essentially we are writers and consultants. There is a strategic aspect to what we do, where we have to be perfect in what we do. I like a mix of the extreme professional, with a twist of creativity. For instance, pencils or something that indicates that we are writers. (just an example).
