Hallo, I'm interested in your project but I have to know the use of your newsletter before designing it. Will you send it as a full picture in the email or will you convert it to html? As html newsletters have restrictions for being displayed correctly to all mail clients I need to know what elements to avoid.
Thanks in advance

Hello,

Thank you for your contact. We would prefer having it as full picture. However, we are not sure whether it will still be possible to make it "interactive", e.g. if people can click on a "Read More" button which then links to a certain page on our website?

Furthermore we are not sure whether all email provider allow full picture to display, like webmail roundcube as we have it?

Do you know?

Best regards

Udo

All mail clients can display full pictures but some of them, since it has no other content than a picture, "thinks" that the mail is spam and sends it to spam folder so it is better for functionality reasons the email to be html but it can't be as impressive as a single picture can be. So it is functionality vs design. Just whatever is your choice I have to know.
Thank you for your answer.

Hello Elsa,

Thank you for your prompt reply. Well, design is currently more important to us and because we are only sending to customer which already bought from us, I think we should be fine not landing in their spam.

Can we have active parts as mentioned in my previous email so people can click on it and get directed to website?

Further question, what if we have to change content and pictures? Will the picture be a kind of template where we can do this then?

Thanks again Elsa

Best regards

Udo

ok, now I understood better your needs. I'll send you before the end of your auction the preview of the design and if you select it you'll have the core file (psd) slice ready for the case you'll want to export it completely from start plus an html file which will have the sliced picture. Only in that way it can have active areas and you can change pictures by choice.
Have a nice day,
Elsa

Hello Elsa,

We all had a look at your design. Of course some changes would be required, but that shouldn´t be a problem I assume.
Did I understand you right that this PSD file can be easily converted into an html file? Would this create any additional cost?

And what about the future picture changes, is this costly?

Is there a way we can communicate outside this "box", once we would have selected you for the job?

Sending you my very best regards

Udo
