Does it matter if the painting is of either a man or a woman?

I think I would prefer a painting of a man to be honest. I think that would appeal to a larger market.
With regards to size, I would imagine the dimensions to be 200mmx130mm

Are we allowed to include stockart/image that were created by others in the design ? For example the brief mentioned a big potrait painting , Does it need to be original ?Or we could just grab someone's artwork to use as bookcover ? Thanks for responding.

If the art is by a well dead artist, then yes, go ahead. If it's by a current living artist, then no, as I won't have the permissions to use their art. Hope that answers your question.
