Logo Design Brief

We need a logo that represents something modern and futuristic. The company name is Nexfinity One which means a Nexus of infinite connections. A place where customers come to get niche product. Something that would represent that would be awesome. Our current logo has an eclipse, which represents a new horizon. We do not need to keep that but would be nice, not required at all. We like darker masculine colors. This logo will placed on a variety of niche technology products. We have attached pictures of the style of logo we like as well as our current logo for reference.
