Logo Design Brief

Logo design for a boutique trial law firm specializing complex business litigation. The website is www.tillotsonlaw.com. Jeff did the current logo using a program. It's not good, but the idea is something clean and modern- no scales of justice or law books or anything corny. If a logo can reflect the idea of taking complex issues and distilling them into digestible concepts and creating persuasive arguments then I would like to marry that logo.

In-house counsel at Fortune 500 companies, business owners, someone who feels like they have a complicated story that they need translated for a jury.

Requirements

Must have

• Jeff's firm is just 4 lawyers competing for work or facing down the biggest name firms. consider the language " crafting or honing persuasive and compelling arguments in language that is easily understood and digested by the jurors." Above all, clean and polished. Jeff liked the black and red but I think blue and black will work too.

Nice to have

• the image should be abstract and incorporated with the name or the idea of complex trial law- no scales of justice or law buildings.

Should not have

• Not too busy, nothing on the nose like scales of justice, law books, lady liberty. Confused by the scale below, so I will say significantly more masculine and upmarket and professional. More conservative and serious. The tag line is playful, but the logo must be serious, and that is why I say incorporate the slingshot in an abstract way, if you decide to use that image.
