Flyer Design Brief
My daughter ( Robin ) and her husband ( Ryan ) are expecting the birth
of their first child (boy) in September and I would like to do a cartoon
illustration announcing the event to all the family and friends. Something
colorful, vibrant, playful, showing movement.
Some of the basic facts I would like to draw from :
Ryan is Irish and works at Pinterest
Robin is half Irish and works at Deloittle (accounting company)
They have a Scottish Terrier (greyish black color) who is their current baby. We are all going to the Kentucky Derby and taking a Bourbon Trail tour in May.
I was thinking of a couple scenarios (but I am open to your input)
First scenario ... Mom and Dad are at the Derby standing at the finish line
The jockeys are all babies in different colored diapers Their baby is leading the race as he crosses the finish line .Their dog is holding a
winners cup with Bourbon written on it & says .. It's a boy !!!
Second scenario ... Mom and Dad are standing beside a " Derby "
carousel with babies on the multi-colored wooden horses.Their dog
( wally) jumps up a pulls one off a horse by his diaper. Mom and Dad are calling out ...It' a boy !!!
