Web Design Brief

I need a web site designed for myself, an Olympic Athlete, from the Grand Cayman Islands. I would like a site that highlights who I am, both as an Olympian as well as a person. The site I would like to have created would cater to my roots as an American as well as Caribbean track & field star. With the 2012 Olympic Games coming up this summer I need a site that will cater to my fans and be able to display my blog posts, Twitter feed, Facebook link, Videos from my Youtube channel and photos from all of my competitions and travels. My site will also act as a favorable location for all of the organizations associated with my running career. Ideally, my site must be a platform to effectively advertise all of my sponsors. I definitely want something clean, modern and fun for users.

  Must have: youtube video player (youtube.com/jonbrankin), photo gallery, twitter feed (@jonrankin), creative display area for blog posts (chasingjonrankin.wordpress.com)
  
  The name of the website is going to be: Chasing Jon Rankin or www.chasingjonrankin.com. It would be great if you made the website title Chasing Jon Rankin or "You are now"(in italics) Chasing Jon Rankin.
  
  These are just some ideas on how to play with the title of the website. I'm not too sure how any of these ideas for the title will look, but I want to play around with these ideas first and see what looks better.
  
  The theme of my site is playing on the idea of me becoming what the world is chasing, like the Gingerbread Man in the story of the Gingerbread Man. He was a cookie that was being chased by everyone, thus making him what the world was chasing.
  
  My current logo, GBM/Go Be More, is both my brand image and my positive motto that I use as a motivational speaker and Olympic Athlete. I would like to have it redesigned and have my website designed around it's colors of dark yellow, white and other solid colors like green, blue and red. Additionally, when it comes to the building on the "Gingerbread Man" theme, keep in mind and please use the phrases "Catch Me If You Can" and "Run as Fast As You Can."
  
  Ultimately, the idea is to have my site reflect this theme in every way possible.
