Logo Design Brief
We are in need of a bold, attractive, and awe-inspiring logo for an ongoing campaign and initiative to combat ageism and stereotyping of seniors. The campaign is called AgeUp because it represents the idea of transforming the perception of aging. The campaign wants to ask: 'dare to be YOU' - at any age. Ultimately, through education, research, and powerful stories, we wish to raise awareness on these anti-ageism issues.
To give you context on who we are: We are a 62+ Life Plan Community (retirement community) located in Seattle, Washington. Our organization mission statement is 'Transforming the Experience of Aging.' We want to change the way people think of aging. This is not a life stage of decline but a life stage of discovery and exploration. We have a hundred year old world renowned pianist who put on a community concert for his birthday, we have residents who are trying acting for the first time, we have residents who exercise every day, we have residents who are poets, yoga enthusiasts, authors, cartoonist, etc.
Some concepts to inspire 'AgeUp' logo design: hot air balloon as possible imagery (going upwards, imaginative), activism feel to it (like Act up), revolutionary flavor to it, creative, upward movement (maybe a clever placement of an arrow in the logo?), open, expansive, learning, blossoming, rising together/rise up, going deeper, etc.

Reason: We have chosen our top two logo choices and will need an extension to make the final decision solidified.
Many thanks.
