Logo Design Brief
I need a 2D logo design for use in books, stationary, and web. It should have both a black/white and color implementation. The logo is for a small independent press called "Three Lakes Press". The company publishes primarily poetry, short fiction, and family genealogy, The name of the company derives from three little lakes/ponds that lie next to each other on the founder's property. One of the ponds is smaller than the other two and is perfectly round.

- One of the ponds is smaller than the other two and is perfectly round. One of the lakes is long and "L" shaped. The final lake is large and oblong. Geographical accuracy is not key to acceptance of the logo but if this information is helpful to the designer, that's fine.
