Logo Design Brief

We are a pharma company developing treatments for epilepsy and other rare diseases - we are a startup and need a company logo. I think a logo incorporating elements of science or medicine are appropriate but can not be cheesy. We want a sharp eye catching logo that will look professional and crisp on company website or bcards etc.
