Logo Design Brief

Business name: KOTOMEC
Business Chinese name: 英康行

We are setting up an orthotic company specialising in a complete range of bespoke and modular orthotic products, leg braces (Knee Ankle Foot, Ankle Foot, Knee braces, etc.), and further orthotic products for additional areas of the human body affected by illness and disease. We are a very innovative firm that uses the most advanced technologies (3D scanning, 3D milling, and 3D printing.) to measure, model and manufacture.

Our Company Mission is to improve our patients’ mobility and quality of life by delivering superior care, quality and innovation. The Chinese name 英康行 means “British + Health + Mobility” and we would like these characters to appear as part of the logo design, but less prominent than our main business name: KOTOMEC. i.e. we would like both, but “KOTOMEC” is the priority and the main feature.

In terms of branding, we would like Chinese customers to feel that the brand is high-quality, technologically-advanced, and trustworthy - believing our products are the best in orthotics. More importantly, we want out logo to conjure up a “high-tech, medical device and clinical business” that is positioned in the healthcare market as being “high-end”, “bespoke”, and the very best provider of mobility solutions.
