Illustration Design Brief

Let me tell you a story.

"In a beautiful garden nearby, there lives a bird called "Vitu". She is a little parrot, but she has big dreams. She wants to fly as high as the Eagles. Her friends make fun of her, saying that she is too silly, her wings are too small, she cannot fly so high and so on. But Vitu is very smart. She knows that she must eat healthy food to become strong, and find some special tools to help her fly high. Will you help Vitu to fly as high as the Eagles, and even higher?"

This is a 2D game for mobiles and tablets. I have prepared the wireframe. The player will tap-tap-tap the touchscreen to flap-flap-flap Vitu's wings and make her fly.

For a layman like me, it is very hard to describe what I want from the design, so please bear with me. Vitu is a cute little female parrot with big dreams. Very smart, brave and adventurous. The design should reflect these traits. The character should appeal to teenagers and young women. A character with which they can relate to.

Target Market(s)

Teenagers and young women in their 20s and early 30s. They should fall in love with the main character "Vitu", and be able to relate with her. They should see a part of themselves in Vitu and her aspirations to fly higher and higher.

Requirements

Must have

• Good colour harmony. Women love beautiful colour harmony. Must have *cute* and *playful* feel.
  
  The wings of Vitu should be drawn such that flapping of wings can be animated during gameplay.

Should not have

• Not a copy of Angry Birds please!
