App Design Brief

We are creating a new app call "MyPLAN" that is designed for young adults (15-24 years old) to create a sexual risk reduction plan to help young adults follow their relationship goals while also being safe. Currently, we need graphic design for the MyPLAN: (1) app logo and (2) a home screen for the app. We would like to see designs that are appealing to the target population - young adults ages 15-24. These requests are only the beginning of a series of graphic designs needs that I have to develop the app - and will offer one-on-one graphic design opportunities (much more $$$ to come) for the right graphic designer. The MyPLAN app is complimentary follow-up to another commercial app we have call OPTIONS, designed for doctors to assess young adults' level of sexual risk during a dr. appointment (see mypreventtech.com for more details) after leaving a doctors visit. I have uploaded our company branding guidelines, but am open to any colors, fonts that are appealing to the target population.

Requirements

Must have

• Both MUST be appealing to the target market.
• The app logo should be an icon or image that represents a plan.
• The homescreen UI needs to be easy to navigate and include 4 key sections: (1) Info - this section will include educational information tailored to their sexual risk level, (2) Plan - this section will link them to create their sexual risk reduction plan, (3) Sharing - this section will link them to areas that allow them to share their plan with their doctor or others, and (4) tip - this section may be a link OR the main part of the homescreen that shares daily/weekly tips on how to stick to their plan. Nice to have

• In app design focus groups, youth in the target market suggested that it would should have a similar look and feel to snapchat because they LOVE that app.

Should not have

• imply its a sexual related or healthcare/wellness related - want to to seem fun & easy to use. I open to any ideas here and am looking for YOU to be CREATIVE!!!
