Logo Design Brief

It must have graphics incorporated and not just fonts. I need it to be very creative.
Make Everything's Interesting more prominent (bigger, the focal point) rather than the name Jesse Mogle.

I like the idea of a globe, galaxy stars, sound waves coming off the letters.
I'd really like there to be some graphics on the logo - not just fonts. Be creative.

I put some photos attached for ideas. Use landscapes, a globe, the universal stars - something that really pops on a website.

The final logo/banner will display a positive, moving forward and taking on life with a curious/desire for knowledge mindset - and respect for oneself, community and world.

Everything's Interesting can be designed differently than my name if it looks good. I have thought about just getting a logo/banner that says - Everything's Interesting - but have been told that for branding I need my name in the logo/banner


Here is a overview of the website.

I run a website focused on how everything's interesting if the story is told with emotion, empathy and respect. A thirst for knowledge coupled with my insatiable curiosity led me to start this website. I write stories, record podcasts and shoot videos - and once the branding is secured, will begin interviewing people with intimate knowledge of the topics I am covering. I am focused on: helping others build a better life through connection, inspiring others to go beyond their limits - with a "today is the day to start making a change" attitude. Personal growth, leadership, mother nature, relationships, nutrition, fitness, entrepreneurship - are just some of my many focal topics for my platform.

Requirements

Must have

• The logo will be used for social media banners, profile pics, thumbnails - anywhere on the website or internet it is needed so readability is key.
• It must have graphics incorporated and not just fonts. I need it to be very creative.
• Make Everything's Interesting more prominent (bigger, the focal point) rather than the name Jesse Mogle.
• I have received some submissions with sound waves coming of the letters or the globe. Since the website is centered around the podcast this is a good addition but not necessary.
• I want it to be playful but not over the top. I get that it is just words but I can push some letter together in illustrator - I want it to pop - to be remembered for how it conveys curiosity, individualism, bold life choices and a thirst for knowledge.

Nice to have

• Playfulness for the "Everything's Interesting" part and a bit for professional for the "w/ Jesse Mogle" part. I don't want it to look like two different logos but it would be cool if there was a differentiation between the two.
• I had originally wanted it to have each letter look like something (a tree, star, tool, tech item, nutrition item, etc.) to convey how my website is literally about EVERYTHING and how no topic is left out - but when I tried to design that it looked ridiculous.
• Nice to have my initials to the the left - JM - so i could pull that out for a simple logo that could be used in the URL bar or on a business card.

Should not have

• Just fonts. I'm getting some great choices that are just fonts and it needs to be more adventurous.
• overtly feminine or masculine characteristics - I don't want anyone to feel left out of my brand.
• Be creative but don't have people thinking the logo is ridiculous - I've already done that myself.
• I attached some examples from the last designer I hired (not through design crowd) and they are not good - and that's an understatement. $50 bucks is clearly not a good rate but that's what he asked for and this is what I got.
