CareAdvantage is a privately branded, individual health insurance product designed to provide fixed daily benefits for hospital stays and related expenses. As such, it is not a traditional major medical health insurance product but rather a limited benefits plan. This insurance plan is designed to be a lower cost alternative for people who are concerned about the expenses related to a hospital stay but do not want, or are unable to afford, the additional cost of insurance for more routine medical expenses such as doctor office visits or prescription drugs.
We are seeking a design for a website to be used for consumers to get details about the plan and provide the ability for the consumer to apply for the plan or request additional information from a sales agent. The website should have a two page design:
1) The landing page to provide the following information, in order of importance:
a. Compelling reasons to purchase this plan
b. Basic information about the plan including a benefit grid and claims payment example
c. Who can benefit from the plan
d. A link to get a quote and apply for the plan
e. A link to a form to request additional information
2) A secondary page that can be duplicated as necessary to provide more detailed information such as claims examples, insurance company information, fillable forms or newsletters to keep the site content current and informative.
The look and feel of the page should be modern but conservative and should convey value, flexibility and security. The desired effect is to project peace of mind and simplicity to the target consumer. Graphics, if used, should display youth, vitality and independence. The site design will also need to be compatible for use with mobile phones and tablets.
A copy of the product logo is included with the submission. It will also need to be incorporated into the website design.
Target Market(s)
The target market will be individuals who are not covered by a group medical plan through an employer and who need to purchase their own health insurance. Consumers who purchase this plan will likely not be eligible for any government subsidy or will only be eligible for a limited one. This product will be available to consumers up to age 65, however, we anticipate that it will have the most appeal for consumers under the age of 40 who do not have children.
