Logo Design Brief

My old logo is over 12 yrs old and i am re-branding it.

I want a simple logo to match my company which is www.brookfieldpoultryequipment.com we sell all chicken keeping and breeding equipment like incubators, feeders etc.
we sell mostly to hobbyists, schools and families so i want a look that is not too corporate but also not a jokey one (not a cartoon)
I have included one i like www.honeyflow.com.au I don't want to copy it but i like the feel and professionalnism of it.

I have included my old logo and the honeyflow one.

Requirements

Must have

• a clean and simple design
• a logo with the wording below or beside (so i can use the logo without any wording when needed)

Nice to have

• I am looking for a whole new look so don't need to use the old logo as a guide but i am open to interpretation.
• an idea could be to incorporate a hatching egg as we sell a lot of incubation equipment

Should not have

• any animated characters
• I like the simple design of the honeyflow logo but PLEASE DON'T COPY IT!! I have just included it to show i don't want something too complicated.
